Valley of The Gods 2 is a video slot developed by Yggdrasil, featuring 6 reels and dynamic slot positions that can expand up to a total of 33 positions. The game features 4 high-value symbols and 6 low-value symbols. Wins occur when three or more identical symbols appear in consecutive columns starting from the leftmost reel. Some reel positions are initially blocked by Scarab relief symbols and become unlocked as you land winning combinations.

Unlocking Features Through Blocker Destruction

At the beginning of each round, 16 positions are blocked by Scarab symbols and are inactive. Whenever you land a winning combination, each winning symbol releases a white scarab that removes a single blocker from the reels. Once all blockers are cleared, any remaining white scarabs transform into red, gold or blue scarabs, which contribute towards special features. Clearing all blockers activates Win Multipliers, Wild Reels, and Extra Lives. After respins come to an end, the total win is credited and blockers reset to their initial positions.

Respins Mechanic

Every time you secure a winning combination on a spin, you earn a respin. Respins persist as long as wins keep occurring. All respins are played at the same bet level as the spin that initiated them.

Extra Lives

Upon removing all blockers, you receive 1 Extra Life. Collecting red scarabs, which emerge from wins with red symbols, builds your tally towards the Extra Lives feature. For every 5 red scarabs collected, you gain an additional life. These can be gathered as long as winning combinations continue. An Extra Life awards a respin whenever a spin doesn't result in a win. A life is used each time this feature is triggered. When no wins occur and there are no lives left, the respin sequence ends.

Wild Reel

After all blockers are removed, collecting gold scarabs from wins with purple and green high-value symbols advances you towards the Wild Reel feature. For every 5 gold scarabs, a Wild Reel is added to the grid and remains until it becomes part of a win or the respins finish. Wild Reels can continue to be activated as long as scarabs are collected.

Win Multipliers

When the reels are fully unlocked, collecting blue scarabs from wins with blue symbols increases your Win Multiplier by 1 for every group of 5 blue scarabs. This multiplier is added to your next respin, not the spin where the multiplier was earned. Multipliers are collected throughout the respin session. The total win, including all multipliers, is credited after respins end and when there are no remaining Extra Lives.
